Game Time!

This is easy - name the movie from the tag line:

1. We are not alone.

2. The future of law enforcement.

3. The Happiest Sound In All The World!

4. Truth - Beauty - Freedom – Love

5. Remember there is no spoon

6. The Bride is back for the final cut.

7. What would you do if you were accused of a murder you had not committed... yet?

8. The temperature where freedom burns!

9. Four perfect killers. One perfect crime. Now all they have to fear is each other.

10. In a time of crisis a hero must rise...from his sofa.

It was hard to find ones that didn't totally give away the movie, so most of these aren't the main movie tag line. I still think these are easy, but we shall see!

1. Close Encounters of the Third Kind

2. Robocop

3. The Sound of Music

4. No idea, but that's a lot to promise from one movie.

5. The Matrix

6. Kill Bill Vol 2

7. Minority Report

8. Fahrenheit 451

9. Reservoir Dogs?

10. The Incredibles?

Sheesh, I guess it was easy, huh? All but two. I'll have to choose the harder ones next time!

I got number 10 wrong, didn't I?

Yep. It's Shaun of the Dead. Boy, that was tough to put together, because the tag line's got the movie title in it a lot of the time.

Don't feel bad. I'm just a huge movie nerd.

BTW #4 is Moulin Rouge. You'd have known it if you'd seen it. Fantabulous flick, I watched it over and over.

That was fun. MV steals the show. Moulin Rouge is, indeed, fantastic. And I loathe musicals as a rule. There's an Australian balldancing one I can't think of right now, I loved that, too.

Good list if there wasn't a Total Nerd in the group. I only woulda gotten 1 and 8. And 8 not because of the movie, but the book.

The funny thing is, I found a million movies where "We are not alone" was one of the tag lines. Just about every alien movie uses it!

How's it going, Jeff?

The Australian ballroom dance movie is the great "Strictly Ballroom". A must see if you've never.

And not technically a musical. I'm adverse to musicals as well, but I did enjoy the Rouge.

Both the aforementioned movies were directed by the same guy, BTW.

I know. Could've been "Contact", could've been "Independence Day" or "War of the Worlds".

I first thought of "Alien", but I remember that tag line was something like: "In space, no one can hear you scream."

Brilliant.

Loved Alien and the sequels. I just love the Ripley character.

Sigourney Weaver's got excellent fucking tits!

I understand the scene with her in her panties and a tank top rank up there with the one of Princess Leia bikini outfit.

The question is, snark, how many did you get right?

And I have a plan for the next one, too. Coming soon to a blog near you.

Aren't you the clever one?

Yeah, but just barely. Princess Leia in the gold bikini is legendary. Last comic convention I was at, the girlfriend of one of the superstar artists (J. Scott Campbell) was dressed in the gold bikini. I bet she had a thousand pictures taken with her.

As shitty as the Star Wars prequel movies were, that's one thing Feckless Whore George Lucas can't take away from us. 8)
