SAVE FERRIS

I took a cheap shot at Sarah Jessica Parker last night, in honor of the SATC movie coming out today.  God, she's fugly.

And I'm not one to pick on the fugly.  She's certainly no better or worse looking than most of the population -- but when the world props her up like some kind of sweetheart/fashion goddess, I gotta take a shot.

The good news is, the movie is NOT 3 hours as some have previously suggested.  It IS, however, 2 hours and 28 minutes.  WTF??  In that amount of time I could watch "Cloverfield" TWICE and it would kick ass twice as much.

I pity the foo who goes to see it.  But please, come back with a full review.  8)

I've never watched the show, and have no interest in the film other than the clothes, and I can see that shit in magazines. Don't like Sarah, either, she is rather hideous. But you know how it is, in America, skinny=pretty. At least that's what they're trying to convince us is true.

I may actually go to the theater to see The Happening. I like all of Shamalan's films, even the bad ones.

Bite your tongue. There are no bad Shamalan films. Just some that are better than others.

I'm might take off early today and go see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Pipes of the Amazonian Gauntlet of the Mutant Koala Fish Bird, or whatever it's called.

And then I'm prolly gonna have to check out The Happening this weekend.

Unfortunately, Happening doesn't happen until June 13, which is a bummer, but I was gonna try Indiana Jones and the Temple of Krystal Meth this weekend. Hancock looks fun, too, I think that's this weekend.

And I should have put "bad" in quotes. I have a hard time watching Unbreakable because it's so cloyingly depressing and the thought of bones breaking like glass creeps me out. Still, I was just telling someone that I liked all of them, even Lady in the Water, which was a sweet little fairy tale, plus I just love Paul Giamatti. He's brilliant in everything. Did you see Shoot 'em Up, with Clive Owen? The most hilarious flick I've seen in a while - Giamatti was the best bad guy evah!

Let's hope she can work up some emotion this time! After Tin Man, I'm wondering if she's got the right stuff, man.
